Ever notice how your cab door doesn’t quite line up anymore, or how you have to slam it harder to get it to latch? That’s your top hinge telling you it’s time for a replacement. This heavy-duty upper hinge gets your driver’s door hanging properly again, eliminating that annoying sag and making your daily climb in and out a whole lot easier.

What You’re Getting

  • Heavy-duty construction designed to handle years of daily door swings
  • Precision engineering ensures proper door alignment and smooth operation
  • Weather-resistant finish fights off rust from rain, snow, and humid conditions
  • Left-hand top position specific for driver’s side door mounting
  • Direct bolt-on replacement using your existing mounting holes

Built for Real Farm Work

Your John Deere 6000 or 6010 series is probably your primary workhorse – the one you count on for everything from planting and spraying to harvest and snow removal. You’re in and out of that cab countless times each day, checking implements, moving between fields, or just grabbing your thermos. A worn top hinge doesn’t just make the door hard to close; it throws off the whole alignment, stressing your lower hinge and potentially damaging those expensive door seals.

Made to Last

Top hinges take abuse that automotive hinges never see – supporting heavy cab doors through thousands of cycles in all weather conditions. This replacement is built farm-tough with reinforced mounting points and a heavy-duty pin that won’t develop slop after a few seasons. The protective coating resists the corrosion that comes from fertilizer dust, road salt, and that inevitable coffee spill when you’re trying to climb in with full hands.

Installation Notes

Save yourself some wrestling by having a helper support the door, or use a ratchet strap from the door frame to the ROPS to hold it in position. Loosen but don’t remove the bottom hinge bolts first – this takes the binding pressure off the top hinge. While you’re at it, check if the bottom hinge has play too – they usually wear as a set. A properly adjusted door should have even gaps all around and close with a satisfying click, not a slam.
